Air pollution is caused by gas which is issued by the industry, motor vehicles and housing. All gas is results of burning fossil (oil, coal) and the use of dangerous gas, eg CFC gas.
A. Gas combustion results
From out of gas, produce CO and sulfur oxide (SO, SO2). Carbon dioxide released by factories, cars, mchinery, etc. More CO2 can cause greenhouse. The hot of sun that reaches the surface of the earth, should be rebound to space, but because the earth was wraped by gas pollution, so its bounce again to the earth.
As a results the earth temperature rises, and is feared ice in the polar will melt.
Increased sulfur oxide can cause acid rain. Acid rain resulted in the death of plants, animals death, death of the ground, rusty metal, so it make the buildings are in dangerous.
B. Gas CFC (Chloro Flouro Carbon)
CFC is a gas that is not colored, does not smell, and is not toxic. This gas is widely used as gas developers (of foam rubber), cooler (AC, refrigerator) and splasher (hair spray, perfume). If CFC reached the stratosfer, (in stratosfer there is ozone gas) ozone (O3) is protect the earth from ultraviolet rays. CFC gas reacts with ozone and cause reduced of ozone, so that form the ozone hole. Trough the ozone hole, UV rays reach the earth, the consequences are the plants become stunted, weed in the sea extinct, the genetic mutation occured, cause skin cancer and eye cancer.
